- The Rank Size Rule is relatively accurate for Ukraine until the fourth city. That is when a major population difference comes into play. Charkiv was approximately 28,447 persons off of the true number, a small amount relatively speaking. Odesa was approximately 66,511 persons off, still not a very large amount. But once it came to Dnipropetrovs'k, there occurred a more than 200,000 person difference than the actual. A much larger number than it's preceding cities I'd say. The Rank Size Rule is proven invalid by Ukraine.
