I believe the Democratic Republic of the Congo is in a late Stage 2 or an early Stage 3 of the DTM. The birth rate is extremely high. Also, the death rate is rather low in comparison. These both are characterized by those areas of the DTM. Along with the birth and death rates, the population growth rate fits both of those DTM areas as well. So it could possibly be in either one.
